Once a template has been edited and saved, it will not be possible to restore it to its original state. So to securely edit a template, it is highly recommended that a copy of the template is created first. This is done by saving the original template with a new name.
1. Go to File.
2. Select Save template as.
3. A copy is made. You can rename it if you wish.
4. To hide on-going work from the store users, select Visibility to make the template invisible.
5. Use the copy to make your changes. This will ensure that in worst case scenario, you always have the original template as a back-up.
6. When the new template is finalized, you can delete the original template if you wish. Would it, however, turn out that the original template is still needed after it has been deleted, you can recover it in this manner.
