Print Compatibility Mode

Sometimes prints do not look as expected when printing out from Shoppa. It could be that the printouts have been printed with strange looking stripes, that the transparency is incorrect, or that there are missing pictures. From Shoppa version 2.21 onward, there is a function that addresses these issues by converting the template into an image before printing. To add Print Compatibility Mode, follow the same initial process as adding a printer, but instead when you need to confirm your printer settings, you have to tick the Compatibility Mode box.

Option 1: Printer settings

How to proceed

  • 1. Click the “i” icon next to the desired format. An information box will open.
  • 2. The bindings list will display the bindings that already exist.
  • 3. Click Add to create a new binding. The Bind Printers box will open.
  • 4. Select a printer. You can connect to a local printer or a network printer.
  • 5. Select a paper format.
  • 6. Select a paper source.
  • 7. Give the binding a name. Now tick the Compatibility Mode box.
  • 8. Click Ok. Compatibility Mode now applies to the new printer binding.
